CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

Using a range of field lenses, including ethics, organizational behaviour, organizational theory, strategic management, and management education, I examine:

• Ethical value creation
• Social enterprise creation, design, management, and governance
• Scaling and scoping social innovation
• Entrepreneurial employment for disadvantaged groups
• Education for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship

Innovation for Social Good Research Cluster (2020 - present) Co-Founder and Co-Lead
The Innovation for Social Good (ISG) research cluster brings together faculty and students from a range of disciplines to create new knowledge about innovation that improves lives, organizations, and communities.

So far, ISG has garnered over $800,000 in research funding from sources such as Economic and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to study Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISE) programs, and both Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and MITACS to study social entrepreneurship for persons with disabilities, human resources management in social enterprise, and scaling and scoping social enterprise.
