Fall 2025 and winter 2026 course schedule
It’s never too early to start planning! To assist you for the coming fall 2025 and winter 2026 semesters, both the Course Schedule and Academic Calendar are now available:
Priority registration for the fall and winter will begin during the week of June 9.
Construction updates: work continues on the Low-Carbon District Energy System
TRU is proud to lead the way in sustainability with the Low-Carbon District Energy System (LCDES). This major infrastructure project will eventually connect campus buildings to an innovative heat pump system — replacing natural gas boilers and significantly reducing TRU’s carbon footprint.
Multiple construction activities are underway or scheduled, resulting in temporary closures and rerouted access points across Kamloops campus. Visit tru.ca/lcdes for maps and updates.
Parking lottery for 2025/26 now open
Premium and reserved permit lotteries for the 2025/26 year are open on the TRU-Concord Parking portal. Premium closes May 13. Reserved closes May 30. See the Parking Lottery page for instructions.
Arts and Education elevator out of service: May 1 - 25
Please note that the elevator in Arts and Education (AE) will be unavailable from May 1 to 25 due to scheduled maintenance. We apologize for any disruption this may cause and encourage you to plan accordingly. For more information, please reach out to Facilities at facilities@tru.ca.
Parking rate increases effective Sept. 1, 2025
Effective Sept. 1, 2025, parking rates at TRU will increase for daily, monthly, semester and yearly permits. This is the first rate increase since 2019.* This adjustment supports parking lot maintenance and improvements, snow removal, sustainability initiatives and TRU's financial health.
New rates will apply to all parking categories, including Visitor, Economy, General, Premium and Reserved parking. We encourage students to review their parking needs in advance, especially before participating in the 2025/26 parking lottery which begins mid- to late April.
For full details on new rates and parking options, visit the Frequently Asked Questions web page or email parking@tru.ca.
*During the 2019/20 academic year, reserved parking rates increased from $1,150 to $1,225, premium rates increased from $850 to $900 per year, while general and economy rates did not increase.
Summer 2025 course registration
