Imogen Jenkins is a partner at Daunais McKay & Harms and a graduate of Thompson Rivers University’s Juris Doctor program. Originally from Jasper, Alberta, Imogen brings to her legal practice and moot coaching a longstanding connection to sport, coaching, and outdoor pursuits. She was a high-level freestyle skier and has worked as a ski coach, swim instructor, outdoor education counsellor, and mountain bike instructor.
Imogen practises family law in Calgary, Alberta, where she assists families through periods of transition with empathy and professionalism. She emphasizes non-adversarial approaches and practical solutions outside court where appropriate. When litigation or adjudication is necessary, Imogen is an experienced advocate who appears before all three levels of court in Alberta and before arbitral venues.
Imogen has coached TRU’s sports law moot teams for three years. Her background in both sport and dispute resolution informs her approach to mentoring students as they develop advocacy, teamwork, and practical problem-solving skills.
Outside her legal practice, Imogen remains active in the mountain sports community and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and hiking with her dog, Murphy.
