StrongerBC future skills grant Available for fall 2024

The StrongerBC future skills grant (FSG) is open to British Columbians aged 19 years or older regardless of financial need. The grant covers up to a lifetime maximum of $3,500 per learner for eligible course costs associated with short-term skills training at public universities and colleges in BC.

Skilled Trades BC Skilled Trades Certification IP Refresher Funding

To help Apprentices and Trade Qualifiers pass their IP Red Seal exams, SkilledTradesBC is helping reduce the cost of tuition for participants who take exam refresher courses. SkilledTradesBC provides a $170 per 30-hours (1 week) of course time subsidy directly to training providers to lower their tuition costs.
